International Scientific and Practical Conference “Sustainable Development in the Post-Pandemic Period”. (SDPPP-2021). SHS Web of Conferences. Vol. 126. 03001 (2021). The purpose of the article is to assess the involvement of industries in global value chains and determine the prospects for intensification of these processes. The research methods are statistical analysis, comparison, graphical analysis. The role of export volumes of high value-added products, their enclosing in global value chains is determined. A methodical approach to assessing the involvement of industries in global value chains is proposed, allowing to detect the state of the country's involvement in the international distribution of labour in concordance with specific industries. The analysis of the structure of exports of industries on the example of Ukraine is carried out, the industries that have a significant export share both in the total exports and in the structure of production output are determined. The leading indicators of the country's involvement in global value chains are computed, as follows: the national added value in the country's exports by industries, the contribution of specific industry sectors of the economy to the national added value of gross exports, the share of the national added value in exports of industries in the total national added value of gross exports. The positioning of industries within the coordinate system «share in the export structure – share of the national added value in exports» is carried out. It is determined that the share of national added value in exports of extractive industries of Ukraine is higher compared to the average of the world countries in this research. At the same time, being lower in the industries of the manufacturing industry, thus justifying the virtual absence of knowledge-intensive and innovative stages of production of the manufacturing industry, which necessitates a deeper specialization in the exports of low-grade products. The directions of a rational integration of the Ukrainian economy into global value chains are substantiated. The measures to be assumed on the part of the government policy to intensify the involvement of Ukrainian producers in global value chains are proposed. Scientific and Practical Conference „Sustainable Development in the Post-Pandemic Period” (SDPPP-2021). SHS Web of Conferences. Vol. 126. 02001 (2021). The woodworking industry is one of the most critical components of the forest sector in Ukraine and world countries. This paper aims to develop directions for ensuring the competitiveness of the woodworking industry in the post-pandemic period. The study resulted in the elaboration of the theoretical framework for identifying the main substantive determinants of industrial competitiveness in world countries through bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer v.1.6.10. The conducted cluster analysis provided for the identification of 4 clusters of scientific research dealing with issues of industrial competitiveness (Cluster 1 is focused on the formation of a competitive business strategy for the development of industrial enterprises; Cluster 2 – on the development of the export-import potential of industrial enterprises; Cluster 3 – on the identification of relationships between ensuring industrial competitiveness and globalisation processes; Cluster 4 – on the implementation of Industry 4.0 and innovative technologies). The obtained theoretical conclusions and generalisations became the basis for forming a system of indicators for assessing the competitiveness of economic activities in the country's woodworking industry. An integrated assessment of the competitiveness of the woodworking industry in Ukraine and world countries was carried out. Using cluster analysis (k-means), world countries, including Ukraine, were clustered according to the value of composite indicators for assessing the competitiveness of individual economic activities in the woodworking industry. Ukraine fell into the cluster characterised by the high competitiveness of individual economic activities in the woodworking industry. International Scientific and Practical Conference “Sustainable Development in the Post-Pandemic Period” (SDPPP-2021). SHS Web of Conferences. Vol. 126. 02001 (2021). The article is devoted to the problem-oriented management of spatial development of united territorial communities (UTC) under the conditions of decentralization under the influence of economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. The article aims to justify the problem-oriented approach in the management of UTC based on the development of a cognitive map of the problems of their development and modelling the problem-oriented management of community resources on the example of human resources. The problem-oriented approach to resource management focuses on solving a problem as a specific theoretical or practical problem, which in turn adaptability, flexibility, the ability to make timely management decisions using available resources. The cognitive map of the four groups of problems of UTC development was developed: problems of the spatial development of UTC and administrative-territorial structure; problems of socio-economic development based on selfsufficiency; problems of local self-government system; problems of rural territories development. The example of human resources scenarios of problem-oriented management of community resources at the macro-, meso-; micro-levels were offered. Series: Earth and Environmental Science, Volume 628, 8th International Scientific Conference on Sustainability in Energy and Environmental Science 21-22 October 2020, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. The article examines the change of the level of air pollution in world's countries (ecological changes). We verified two hypotheses. It can be caused by an increase in the level of development of countries accompanied by a change in the level of air pollution and the countries with different rates of economic growth may observe different rates of air pollution reduction in the post-crisis period. To test the hypotheses, hierarchical agglomerative and iterative methods of cluster analysis, and econometric models were used. The annual percentage growth rate of the GDP per capita and percentage of population exposed to ambient concentrations of PM2.5 for 101 countries for 2008-2017 were considered as the research information base. The results showed both significant positive and negative effects of increasing level of economic development and air pollution of the countries with a time lag in one-two year. In addition, the results of an econometric analysis show that there are different dynamics of air pollution level for countries with high, medium and low economic growth rates. The results can be of value for the formation and adaptation of the environmental strategies. DOI:10.1088/1755-1315/628/1/012016
